Shipping update

Dear MU Scholars,
We have been working with the MU game manufacturer to get the completed games onto ships and into our fulfillment warehouses as quickly as possible. Due a shipping backlog and the extra paperwork associated with the current trade conditions between the US and China the games are still en route to our 3 regional fulfillment warehouses.
For more clarity, I'd like to outline the final remaining steps in the shipping process and the delivery of the game to the backers.
1. The games are shipped from the manufacturer in China to our three fulfillment warehouses in the US, the UK, and Australia.
2. We make one last call for address updates before final shipment to backers begins.
3. Final shipment from our three regional warehouses to you.
Due to unforeseen delays in shipping from China to our 3 regional warehouses we are still at first phase of the final shipping process. The games are done, and are in cargo containers headed to our three regional warehouses. I have asked the game manufacturer for the expected arrival dates for the 3 regional shipments, and should have that very soon.
We apologize for this delay in shipping the completed games. As soon as we have a more specific date we will provide it in another update.

Dear MU Scholars,
We take great pleasure in reporting to you that the manufacturing/printing of the game finished earlier this week. Shipping from China to our warehouses is scheduled to start any day now. As soon as we know the shipping times and the names of the ships we will provide them in another update.
We will lock down BackerKit once the ships are close to our warehouses. Please update your shipping address as needed until we announce the final lockdown later this month.
As always, thank you for backing our Kickstarter!

Dear MU Scholars,
The Deductive Method PDF now available to download on Backerkit
The special Kickstarter exclusive Miskatonic University short fiction, Molly Tanzer's The Deductive Method is available for you to download via your Backerkit Account (all backers at $25 Professor level and above).
.
It's currently offered as a PDF. We'll be adding other digital formats (EPUB, MOBI, PRC) shortly. The story will remain a Kickstarter exclusive until mid-2019.
We hope you enjoy the tale!
Manufacturing the game now completed; #ShipsofCthulhu will soon set sail
Our printers in China have advised that the manufacturing process of the MU game is now complete. Next week, the cargoes get loaded onto container ships to be delivered to our fulfilment warehouses in the USA, UK, and Australia. Once we have the details, including the names of the ships and their arrival dates, we'll let you know. That's also when we'll be setting a lockdown date for Backerkit; you'll have until that date to modify your order or update your shipping address.
Our warehouses will commence fulfilling Kickstarter orders as soon as they receive their shipment. Based on previous experience, shipments tend to arrive in Australia first, followed by the USA and then UK.
Customs and shipping willing, we could possibly still be able to start sending out rewards to some backers by the very end of November; however, early to mid December would be a more realistic time-frame.
Field Trip Coupon extended to December 31st
We have extended the 10% Discount 'Field Trip' coupon to December 31 to enable you to use it for the Call of Cthulhu Starter Set and the special Masks of Nyarlathotep Leatherette Edition, both of which will go on sale next month.
We also want to let you know that the long-awaited Call of Cthulhu official video game was released on XBox One, PS4, PC and Steam on October 30. The game was produced under license by Focus Home Interactive, and is inspired by and emulates the essence of the Call of Cthulhu tabletop RPG.

Dear MU Scholars,
If you recall, our $58K stretch goal was commissioning a piece of short fiction set in Miskatonic University by British Fantasy and Wonderland Book Award-nominated author Molly Tanzer. Her story, The Deductive Method, is now completed! Here's the blurb:
"Graduate programs at any university are a grind, a perpetually uphill marathon that exhaust even the most brilliant scholar. At Miskatonic University, the perils facing the unsuspecting grad students include far darker, stranger things than cutthroat departmental politics and shrinking financial aid, as Simcha discovers when she takes up a predatory professor's offer of access to an unpublished Sherlock Holmes tale penned by the consulting detective's creator, Arthur Conan Doyle."
And the cover ($67K Stretch Goal) is done too! It was painted by Victor Leza, cover artist for numerous Call of Cthulhu releases including such titles as Doors to Darkness, Nameless Horrors, and the forthcoming Call of Cthulhu Starter Edition. Right now, our fiction executive editor James Lowder is working with our layout specialist Nick Nacario to present the tale in multiple electronic formats (PDF, EPUB, MOBI, PRC), ready for launch on November 9.
To whet your appetite until then, take a look at Victor Leza's cover:

All backers at Professor level ($25) and above will be able to download The Deductive Method on November 9th from Backerkit. The story will remain a MU: the Restricted Collection Kickstarter exclusive until mid-2019.
